Role Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer in our Amsterdam office, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing Europe-specific payment and credit products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, Data Science, and Engineering, to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the unique needs of the European market.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and enhance existing ones.
- Architect and implement robust solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Lead projects and mentor junior engineers to promote their growth and the success of the team.
- Participate in the on-call rotation, demonstrating reliability and a commitment to system uptime.
- Advocate for best practices in software development and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product engineering, preferably with a focus on back-end development.
- Strong coding and testing skills, with experience in large scale backend systems.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in project management.
- Familiarity with payments products and Open Banking APIs is a plus.
