Role: Software Engineer - Investments
As a Software Engineer on the Investments team, you will be responsible for building new products from the ground up, creating new capabilities for Plaid and for the fintech industry as a whole. You will work hand-in-hand with product and design teams to define what our products are and how they work. Your main responsibilities will include designing new systems within our architectural ecosystem, crafting well-maintained, maintainable code, and solving problems with creativity and grit.
Responsibilities
- Build new Investments products from the ground up.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define product features and functionalities.
- Create well-crafted, maintainable code striving for clarity and simplicity.
- Design new systems within our architectural ecosystem with guidance from experienced team members.
- Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and develop products that address their financial investment challenges.
Qualifications
- At least one year of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience in writing high-quality, maintainable code.
- High ownership and excitement about taking on challenging problems.
- Customer empathy and a desire to directly engage with customers to understand their needs.
