Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our team remotely in Spain. You will be part of a multi-discipline engineering team working on server-side, client-side, and mobile technologies. Your primary focus will be on developing robust and scalable backend solutions using Python and Django.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Django.
Design and implement RESTful APIs to support our web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Work with AWS and tools like Terraform, Packer, and Consul to manage infrastructure.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

What We Are Looking For

Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django or similar web frameworks.
Experience with REST APIs and HTTP protocols.
Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
Knowledge of frontend technologies such as React.js and Redux.js is a plus.
Experience with Celery for asynchronous processing and Postgres for database management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
