Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our team remotely in Spain. You will be part of a multi-discipline engineering team working on server-side, client-side, and mobile technologies. Your primary focus will be on developing robust and scalable backend solutions using Python and Django.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Django.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support our web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Work with AWS and tools like Terraform, Packer, and Consul to manage infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django or similar web frameworks.
- Experience with REST APIs and HTTP protocols.
- Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies such as React.js and Redux.js is a plus.
- Experience with Celery for asynchronous processing and Postgres for database management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
