Your Role and Responsibilities
This position is located in Radford, VA or Ft. Belvoir, VA and requires 5 days onsite. You will work with Government engineers to develop and maintain the architecture, deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Windows based services, and maintain patching services for all Windows hosts. You will serve as a subject matter expert on Windows Administrator technology, manage Active Directory objects, and provide daily administration of Windows based Virtual Machines. Additionally, you will harden Windows based services per commercial best practices and required government cybersecurity controls, perform troubleshooting, and coordinate major OS version upgrades.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570.01-M IA Tech Level II certification
- Must have (or obtain within 6 months of hire) Windows administrator related computing environment certification (i.e. MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Senior level experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- Strong automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- Working knowledge of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) process
