Bend Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced Staff Backend Developer to join our team. This is a full-time, 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States.

Role Overview
As a Staff Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our backend systems. We primarily use React and Typescript on the front end and Ruby on Rails on the backend. While experience with these technologies is beneficial, it is not mandatory. We are looking for a seasoned backend developer with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming and system architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain large-scale applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Practice test-driven development to ensure high-quality code.
- Utilize design patterns and system architecture best practices.
- Solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building large-scale applications.
- Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Familiarity with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
