About the Role
As a Technical Lead in the Growth Product Group at HubSpot, you will be at the forefront of driving user acquisition, onboarding, retention, and monetization across our entire product platform. Your primary focus will be on leading a team of engineers dedicated to building and optimizing data-driven features and tools that enhance user experience and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers, promoting autonomy and flexibility within the group.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline for processing millions of daily usage-data events.
- Create intuitive internal tools for data analysis and experiment configuration.
- Engineer low-latency APIs for customer-facing experiments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and researchers to develop new features that drive growth.
- Implement data-driven experiments to gain insights into user behavior and improve product offerings.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience as a team or technical lead, with a strong emphasis on front-end development.
- Proficient in JavaScript and React.js, with a solid understanding of programming fundamentals.
- Interest in data analysis and using tools like Amplitude and Looker.
- Strong user focus, with an ability to empathize with user needs and drive improvements based on user feedback.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring other engineers.
