About The Role
We are seeking a Backend Engineering Lead for our Flywheel Product team at HubSpot. This role involves overseeing a small family of teams, providing technical, product, and team-level leadership. The successful candidate will be hands-on in the code while also having the opportunity to grow successful direct reports and run productive teams.
Team Overview
The Flywheel Product Team is responsible for accelerating HubSpot’s enterprise Flywheel. We focus on creating simplicity for our Marketing, Sales, and Ops users through self-service solutions, collaborating with data science, automation, and machine learning teams. Our work involves tackling complex problems like data management architecture and optimizing lead management.
Responsibilities
- Direct a team of engineers in creating capabilities that deliver accurate, high-quality data and feedback loops to support our lead management and sales operations.
- Foster an inclusive environment within cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate and build trusted relationships across the company.
- Deliver value iteratively by envisioning, experimenting, building, and monitoring new features and tools.
- Get direct exposure to HubSpot’s business operations.
Candidate Profile
- Experience with data architectures (MDM, Data Mesh) or data platforms (Snowflake, Amplitude, Looker).
- Experience working with Go To Market teams, internal product teams, business process automation, and customized CRM implementations.
- Strong user focus and empathy for user challenges.
- Experience mentoring and coaching technical team leads.

Compensation and Benefits
- Cash compensation range: 197000-316000 USD Annually.
