About the Role
HubSpot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join our Prospecting Product Group. This role focuses on leveraging AI technology to enhance the sales process, making sales teams more effective and efficient. You will be part of a new team that is experimenting with innovative AI solutions to solve complex problems in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and ship production code with meaningful user and business impact.
- Collaborate with a small team of engineers, product managers, and designers to achieve compelling goals.
- Prioritize quick, effective solutions over perfection, aiming for product market fit.
- Quickly adapt to complex systems and intricate data models.
- Contribute to HubSpot’s growing AI Platform by using, giving feedback, and contributing back.
- Take proactive ownership of product reliability and quality.
We’re Looking For
- Strong, autonomous senior engineers with a curiosity to experiment and learn.
- Experience with Java, Kafka, and other backend technologies.
- Familiarity with LLMs, prompt generation, RAG techniques, and other AI-related technologies.
- A focus on building customer-focused features that incorporate generative and predictive AI.
- A commitment to fostering an environment of autonomy and psychological safety.
