Join Vinted as an Analytics Engineer in Buyer Intelligence
Vinted, the largest online international C2C marketplace in Europe, is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our Buyer Intelligence team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our search engines, product categories, discovery channels, and listing journeys. You will work with a team of decision scientists and analytics engineers to support the Buyer domain with data insights, research, and data products.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Model and Pipeline Development: Build and maintain efficient and reliable data models and pipelines for both external and internal data, in partnership with data engineering.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data and business stakeholders to collect data needs and translate these into functioning pipelines and data models.
- Optimization and Documentation: Ensure optimal use of data models by driving optimization, documentation, training, and monitoring of best practices.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis in case of issues in data production processes.
- Cross-functional Projects: Contribute to other company-wide analytics engineering projects and initiatives.
About You
- Experience: Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer, ETL Developer, Data Analyst/Scientist, Data Engineer, or in a similar data role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL and experienced in another programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Data Expertise: Familiarity with data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques.
- Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships.
- Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail and excellent written and spoken English.
- Advantageous: Experience working in a cloud environment, such as Google Cloud Platform.

Salary
The salary range for this position is €51,600 - €69,600 gross per year.
