Job Overview
As an API Integration Specialist at Waternet, you will play a crucial role in developing system integrations using Azure and contributing to the growth of the Integration team. You will work on unlocking data sources and integrating and publishing processes securely and efficiently. The publication of APIs is done through the Azure API Management platform, utilizing Logic Apps, Function Apps, Azure Integration Account, and the Azure Service Bus.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise, analyze, design, and develop secure integrations using Azure Integration Services.
- Uniformly publish and unlock internal and external APIs via the API platform.
- Advise, analyze, design, develop, and document integrations between various applications using Logic Apps, Function Apps, and Azure Service Bus.
- Develop and expand CI/CD (YAML) pipelines for building, validation, testing, and deployment of APIs.
- Implement and improve Security, Monitoring, and Alerting in Azure Monitor for the Integration Platform.
- Work within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Team Environment
You will join a self-organizing team of 10 colleagues, including a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, and Integration specialists. The team focuses on innovation and collaboration, both internally and with other teams at Waternet. Currently, the focus is on implementing the drinking water and wastewater connection process via the Digital Collaboration Platform (DSP), with a planned go-live in Q2 2024.
Qualifications
- HBO/WO level of working and thinking.
- Proficiency in the Dutch language.
- Experience with the Azure platform: API Management, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Integration Account, and Service Bus.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, BICEP.
- Experience working in an Agile team (Scrum).
- Experience in designing, developing, and documenting APIs (SOAP, REST, OAS).
