Associate Integration Solutions Technical Lead

Job Overview

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is seeking an Associate Integration Solutions Technical Lead to join its Group Corporate Services Directorate – Group Digital Office (GCS-GDO), Platforms & Services Department (P&S), Integration Division (INT), Integration Solutions Unit (ISU) at its headquarters in Luxembourg. This role is pivotal in driving seamless integration solutions within the EIB Group, focusing on developing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge solutions to integrate business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration Solutions Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of integration solutions, from requirements gathering and analysis to design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, business analysts, test engineers, and project managers, to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Architecture and Design: Architect integration solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies, such as middleware platforms, APIs, or messaging queues.
• Data Management: Design and implement data mapping, transformation, and validation strategies to ensure data integrity and accuracy across integrated systems.
• Monitoring and Testing: Implement monitoring and logging mechanisms to identify integration issues proactively and resolve them promptly. Conduct thorough testing and validation of integration solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with quality standards.
• Deployment and Security: Implement automated deployment processes and manage automated security testing tools and processes to integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and frameworks, collaborating with GDO compliance, Security Testing, and Internal Audit teams.

Qualifications

• Education: University degree in computer science or related disciplines.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an Integration Architect, Integration Engineer, or similar role.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in integration technologies such as Azure Logic Apps, ESB (IBM WMB/IIB/ACE or MuleSoft), API, event streaming, SOA, messaging queues. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET.
• Cloud and Security: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and understanding of Authentication and Authorization protocols like OpenID Connect, OAUTH, or SAML.
• Languages: Excellent knowledge of English and/or French, with a good command of the other.
