Job Overview
Join ING Nederland as a Chapter Lead in Analytics Engineering within the Financial Crime and Fraud Prevention (FCFP) domain. This role is pivotal in driving the development and implementation of advanced analytics applications aimed at tackling high-impact problems in the financial services industry. As a Chapter Lead, you will split your time equally between engineering tasks and leading a team of 10-12 engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Development: Oversee a chapter of engineers, focusing on recruitment, personal development, and performance evaluation. Inspire and coach team members on both professional and personal levels.
- Engineering Excellence: Architect and build analytics solutions from prototype to deployment. Drive the transition from model building to delivering state-of-the-art data products.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with senior-level stakeholders to drive results and promote advanced analytics approaches in the KYC domain.
- Agile Implementation: Implement analytics solutions using Agile methodologies, ensuring stable and secure service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least 10+ years in Data, Analytics, and Machine Learning, with a proven track record in leading teams and developing people.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data manipulation and transformation using Scala, Python, Spark, and SQL. Familiarity with big data tools and frameworks like Hadoop and Spark.
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with excellent presentation abilities.
