Join Our Team as a Data Analyst
Pilot is at the forefront of revolutionizing the financial back office for startups and small businesses. We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our dynamic data team in San Francisco, CA. As a Data Analyst at Pilot, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by leveraging data to solve real-world business problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Deep-Dive Analyses: Perform in-depth analyses to uncover insights and influence business decisions.
- Metrics and Reporting: Create and maintain company-wide metrics and reporting using Looker.
- Data Pipelines: Build high-quality DBT pipelines to automate data analysis and empower scalable analytics.
- Ad-Hoc Requests: Handle ad-hoc data requests while addressing long-term goals of stakeholder teams.
- Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor other teams on how to best use data to drive their decisions.
About You
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience as a data analyst, ideally in SaaS or services-oriented companies.
- Technical Skills: Expert-level knowledge of SQL and spreadsheets (GSheet/Excel). Experience with BI tools such as Looker.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to craft compelling narratives from complex data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with sales, marketing, or finance teams.
- Familiarity with DBT, Snowflake, and Fivetran.
- Experience working with Salesforce and Zuora data.
- Proficiency in Python.

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $103,000 to $139,000 per year in San Francisco, CA. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits.
