Role Overview
Join Docker, Inc as a Senior Data Analyst and be part of a team that drives data-driven insights across the company. This role is crucial for analyzing and transforming data from various sources using tools like Snowflake and DBT, developing and maintaining robust data models that support ongoing and ad-hoc analysis. You will be responsible for creating and managing comprehensive dashboards and reports using Looker, effectively communicating findings to corresponding stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and transform data using Snowflake and DBT.
- Develop and maintain robust data models for ongoing and ad-hoc analysis.
- Create and manage comprehensive dashboards and reports using Looker.
- Act as the primary point of contact for data-related inquiries.
- Deeply understand stakeholder challenges and help prioritize their requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Share best practices, drive continuous improvement, and conduct peer reviews.
- Scope and track progress on initiatives, refining complex questions and objectives.
- Track work proactively and contribute to our product backlog.
- Utilize reverse ETL tools for operational system integration.
- Build user-facing documentation for key processes, metrics, and data models.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis / business intelligence.
- Proficiency with Snowflake, DBT, and Looker.
- Strong data modeling skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project management knowledge and experience with agile methodologies.
