The Role: Senior DevSecOps Engineer

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Efficy, you will play a pivotal role in automating and optimizing the software delivery process. Your main focus will be on automation, continuous integration and deployment, infrastructure management, monitoring, and security. This position is crucial for ensuring that development and operations teams collaborate effectively to deliver software solutions swiftly, reliably, and securely.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP to optimize resource usage for scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Setting up and maintaining continuous monitoring of applications and infrastructure.
• Ensuring secure configurations of CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, containers, and infrastructure.
• Providing technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents.
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and managing remediation efforts.
• Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal security policies, such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Evaluating and deploying security tools to enhance the security posture.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development, IT operations, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, New Relic).
• Proficiency with Git and version control practices.
