Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead a multi-disciplinary product team including engineers, product managers, and designers delivering innovative digital solutions following Agile & DevOps best practices.
- Translate system requirements/user stories into a robust, supportable design of code for complex products/applications.
- Lead, influence, and implement development and test the code to ensure it functions as designed.
- Implement the code across the software development life cycle steps, setting standards for CI/CD tooling for deployment and integration.
- Lead and influence deployment to production, monitor, and maintain the software to ensure proper functionality.
- Define how to work with others on product, operations teams, and other systems that the software and services integrate with.
- Define the system and software architecture design of the application.
- Define improvements needed for experience and performance of the codebase.
- Set standards based on the latest software practices, technologies, and vulnerabilities.
- Continuously mentor others on software engineering best practices and latest trends.
- Continue to grow technical skills by engaging in the work.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in leading a software engineering team.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Proficiency in software development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
