What You'll Do

As a Lead Developer, you will play a crucial role in the FastTrack team, shaping the technological vision. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing high-quality software solutions for our clients. Additionally, you will mentor the team, guide them in making technical decisions, and solve complex problems. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects where innovation is key, and you have the freedom to explore and implement new ideas to continuously improve our technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, test, and implement high-quality software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and checks to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Lead a team of full stack developers in developing software solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
• Define architecture and development standards to ensure the quality, scalability, and reliability of our solutions.
• Explore new technologies and tools to enhance team efficiency and productivity.

Your Profile

• A completed HBO or WO education in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a full stack developer.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and working with development teams.
• Deep knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like Node.js, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with backend technologies such as Java (8,11,17), Spring & Spring-boot, SOAP & REST, Maven, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Experience with one of the following technologies is a plus: Liquibase, Webflux, resilience4j, Kotlin.
• Experience with database technologies such as Postgres, MySQL, and PgAdmin.
• Familiarity with platforms like Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker & Apache Tomcat.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
