Full Stack Software Engineer

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Acai Travel, you will be at the forefront of solving complex problems in the travel operations industry using Large Language Models (LLMs). Your main responsibilities will include writing scalable and testable code, contributing to our codebase, and being responsible for your code in production environments. You will use Golang for backend development and TypeScript/Next.js for frontend development, along with prompt engineering techniques for LLMs.
What You Will Do
- Write code that uses LLMs to solve hard problems in the Travel Operations Industry, including Corporate Travel Management Companies, Online Travel Agencies, Hotels, and Airlines.
- Contribute to the codebase that heavily uses LLMs to solve complex problems, making 2K LLM Calls per day!
- Write testable code that can scale efficiently.
- Be responsible for your code in production - You build it, you ship it, you own it!
- Our codebase is CI/CD with detailed monitoring and tracing.
- Collectively define the product, technical architecture, processes, and standards of the company.
What We Expect You to Bring
- Experience of writing cloud native production code using either Golang or TypeScript with strong desire to learn the missing pieces.
- Desire to learn about engineering at scale.
- Experience integrating third parties APIs, web services, crawling, etc.
- Able to communicate complex ideas in English language.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.

Location Requirement
Currently, we are only open to candidates based in Barcelona with legal residence and work authorisation. At such an early stage, unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa-support for HQP or any other employer linked visas in Spain.
