Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative and strategic Head of Organic Growth to lead our communication efforts at our rapidly growing fitness app startup, Zing. This role involves managing social content, social groups, partnerships, events, and podcasts, collaborating closely with the broader team to deliver amazing cross-functional content.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a holistic communication strategy that aligns with the company's vision, goals, and brand identity.
- Craft and execute communication plans for product launches, marketing campaigns, and other key initiatives.
- Manage our Events work-stream covering events, clubs, and Zing-hosted events.
- Work with the wider team to ensure all creative and ad copy is in line with the Zing tone of voice and brand identity.
- Be the expert on our customers and competition; compile, analyze, and manage competitive, market, and industry knowledge.
- Cultivate relationships with media and social channels to grow brand awareness.
- Manage the team effectively.
Essential Qualifications
- Significant, demonstrably strong marketing experience (usually 5+ years).
- Proven track record of success leading a team in a senior brand or content role.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Experience in ideating, developing, and executing integrated brand and communication strategies.
- Strong understanding of the cultural zeitgeist, fitness and well-being brands, market dynamics, and core consumer audience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Great communication skills and fluency in English.
