KYB Analyst (French Speaker)

Job Overview

This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the integrity of our client onboarding processes. You will be responsible for managing personal workloads, reviewing and verifying client applications, and conducting thorough due diligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Workload and Escalation: Handle personal workload efficiently and escalate key risks or issues to management in a timely manner.
• Client Onboarding: Review and verify all applications for client onboarding within the available SLAs.
• Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with Relationship Partner Teams and clients to gather necessary supporting evidence for KYC due diligence.
• Compliance Applications: Utilize compliance applications such as Refinitiv World-Check & Jumio effectively.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments, periodic reviews, and enhanced due diligence.
• Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor and document unusual activities or AML flags.
• Training Participation: Engage in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other relevant subjects.
• General Administration: Handle general administration and ancillary activities related to compliance functions.
• Document Review: Review constitutional documents of corporate clients and related parties.
• Open-Source Searches: Conduct open-source searches on regulation, public listing, and licensing status.
• Screening: Perform WorldCheck screening against PEP, TF, Adverse Media, and ML risk.
• Translation: Translate corporate documents to English as needed.
• Escalation Forms: Prepare senior management and MLRO escalation forms with detailed risk descriptions.
• System Feedback: Provide feedback on system malfunctions, gaps, and necessary upgrades.
• Procedure Implementation: Implement procedures in the onboarding environment and identify procedural gaps.
• Suspicious Documentation: Detect suspicious and falsified documentation.
• Data Entry: Ensure accurate manual data entry.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a corporate onboarding role with substantial knowledge of relevant rules and regulations.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Knowledge of multiple client types and EEA jurisdictions.
• Experience in reviewing AML Policies and Procedures.
• Good knowledge of Virtual Asset Service Providers business types.
• Experience handling high-risk and complex KYB cases.
• Preferred certifications: ACAMS/CAMS/CCAS/ICA.
• Strong time management, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Adaptable in a fast-moving environment.
• Good knowledge of local laws, directives, and regulations.
• Knowledge of upcoming virtual currency policies is a plus.
