As a lead software developer on our IT Commercial Lines (ITCL) team, you’ll be part of our Strategic Planning and Architecture team partnering, mentoring, and collaborating with our business partners, developers, architects, and enterprise teams to innovate, advance, and promote our ITCL technologies and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning and Architecture: Partner with architects to build strategies and provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership.
• Mentorship: Coach and mentor the organization to adopt new and advancing architecture.
• Development: Leverage your development skills to experiment, learn, and build our cloud, on-premise, and vendor strategies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business partners, developers, and enterprise teams to innovate and advance ITCL technologies.

Must-have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and a minimum of six years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.
• In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of six years related work experience.
• In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of eight years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.

Preferred Skills

• Full stack development with C#, .NET, Angular (v4 or higher), AWS, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, Agile.
• Data-focused mindset to improve customer and business outcomes with strong communication and influencing skills.
• Analytical, technical troubleshooting, diagnosing, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient working in cloud-based environments, like AWS, and software engineering languages, like Python.
• Extensive experience working with automation or scripting technologies, such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, etc.

Compensation

• Salary: $125,000 - $155,000/year
• Bonus: Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
