What You Will Do
- Lead and manage backend development projects, focusing on optimizing renewable energy generation and creating a more intelligent grid.
- Collaborate with a global team of around 500 engineers across various disciplines.
- Solve complex design challenges in the utilities market, which is complicated, outdated, and process-heavy.
- Tackle technical problems such as processing millions of meter readings daily and integrating data into a machine learning pipeline.
- Adapt Kraken's technology to improve utilities like water and broadband, contributing to a more dynamic and smarter energy landscape.
- Work in a hybrid environment, with the option to work remotely within Germany.
What You Will Need
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django or similar web frameworks.
- Expertise in domain modeling, HTTP, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
- Experience with Celery and asynchronous processing.
- Knowledge of Postgres and database application development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
