The Role
Turtl is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our engineering team. This pivotal role focuses on maintaining the stability, reliability, and efficiency of our systems. You will be working with a stack that includes AWS, Fastly, Terraform, Ansible, MongoDB, NodeJS, and Datadog. Experience with data engineering platforms like Databricks and ETL processes is highly advantageous.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies.
- Use Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code and configuration management.
- Monitor system performance using Datadog, and proactively address system issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to streamline code deployment and other operational processes.
- Maintain and improve our database systems, primarily MongoDB.
- Work with data engineering tools such as Databricks for ETL processes, optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams.
- Ensure security best practices throughout our infrastructure.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing high-quality support with a focus on reliability and uptime.
Who You Are
- Experience with cloud services and infrastructure, experience with AWS is a plus.
- Familiar in using IaC for automation and configuration, experience with Ansible and Terraform is a plus.
- Familiar with CDN technologies, preferably Fastly.
- Familiar in MongoDB administration and optimization.
- Strong with monitoring tools, preferably Datadog.
- Knowledgeable in data engineering and ETL processes, experience with Databricks is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
What We Offer
- A competitive base salary €55000 - €63000 (depending on experience).
