Job Overview
Network Optix is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic web team. As a key player, you will be responsible for developing features for our cloud portal and other projects. You will work closely with design, product, and other tech teams to enhance the cloud portal experience by integrating existing features from our native clients and introducing new functionalities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support a suite of applications, including the Cloud Portal, License Management Portal, and various management tools.
- Create architecture and plan implementation for front-end and back-end features.
- Design and modify front-end web interfaces based on user requirements.
- Collaborate with designers and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs to support front-end features.
- Create and modify internal company web tools based on team requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional web development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web browser standards.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.
- Proficiency in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework, or equivalent backend technologies like Node.js, PHP, or Ruby on Rails.
- Understanding of back-end security best practices.
- Experience with SQL and a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced experience in Angular and Python/Django.
- Experience with Git, Gitlab, Docker, and Linux.

Location
This position is ideally a hybrid role based in Portland, Oregon. We also consider candidates in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area and Walnut Creek, CA.
