Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer who is experienced in handling a wide range of enterprise projects. You should be proficient in working through the software stack and understand the tradeoffs between technologies. This role involves tackling challenging problems and managing the complexity of hundreds of thousands of bitcoin miners.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other developers and engineers to design, build, and maintain applications.
- Build applications for various platforms using common frameworks such as .Net Core, Express, Django, Angular, and React.
- Design and maintain software architecture and conventions.
- Develop DevOps infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) as needed.
- Participate in Agile teams and contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in multiple object-oriented languages including C#, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Experience with full-stack applications, Unix/Linux environments, and enterprise software.
- Familiarity with SQL and GraphQL.

This role is hybrid, requiring some in-office time, and reports to the Director of Software Engineering. Riot does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role now or in the future.
