About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Dashboards team at Datadog, you will be at the forefront of building, scaling, and operating high-performance, programmable, and visually appealing user interfaces. Our customers rely on these dashboards to visualize and explore data about their systems, helping them solve complex and challenging issues around user experience.
What You’ll Do
- Own meaningful parts of our user interfaces, focusing on performance and user experience.
- Implement compelling, usable UIs; contribute to their design; and engineer them with React.
- Participate or lead architectural decisions for new and existing features.
- Collaborate with experienced peers who will lift you up and be a mentor to other engineers on your team.
- Join a tightly knit team solving hard problems the right way.
Who You Are
- You have been building applications for 4+ years and know the systems you’ve worked on from top to bottom.
- You have significant programming experience on the frontend, preferably in the React environment.
- You have made product decisions that significantly impacted the day-to-day life of your users.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment that values diversity of talent, excellence of product, and exciting engineering challenges at scale.
