The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a team focused on backend development for data-intensive applications. You will work with technologies like Kafka, Java, Scala, Python, and Rust to build RESTful APIs and manage data flows in high-throughput environments. Your role will involve deep software design and architecture, with a focus on cloud-native environments and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in backend development, particularly with Java, Scala, Python, or Rust
- Experience in building and managing RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of data-intensive applications, including working with Kafka and JDBC (PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with cloud-native environments and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- A STEM background or relevant industry experience
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
