About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Revenue Growth team at Discord, you will be instrumental in building and scaling consumer-facing products on various platforms including web, mobile (iOS and Android), and backend systems. Your main responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining new Revenue products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand user behavior and needs, and launching products that drive revenue.
What You'll Do
- Design and build new Revenue products on our iOS, Android, and Web apps.
- Collaborate with engineers, PMs, Data Scientists, and Designers to launch revenue products and marketing campaigns.
- Architect elegant and maintainable code with a focus on autonomy and support from the team.
- Uphold a high product and technical quality bar while quickly launching and iterating on features.
- Introduce coding and operational best practices to the team; always be learning & teaching.
- Work with analytics and experimentation frameworks to experiment with revenue growth ideas and develop a deeper understanding of the features we ship.
- Own projects end-to-end, from refining requirements with Product to creating technical designs and specs, implementing changes, and overseeing launch and maintenance.
What You Should Have
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, specializing in building and scaling consumer-facing products.
- Solid understanding of development frameworks and fundamentals on platforms such as web (React, TypeScript), Android (React Native, Kotlin), iOS (React Native, Objective-C, Swift), and backend (Python and some Elixir).
- Strong product sense and a high degree of empathy for internal and external users.
- Leadership skills, with a motivation to help team members succeed and grow.

Additional Information
- This is a full-time, remote position offering a competitive salary range of $183,000 - $201,000 per year plus equity and benefits.
