Join DuckDuckGo as a Senior Software Engineer for Windows Desktop App
DuckDuckGo, the internet privacy company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help shape our all-in-one privacy solution. This role is pivotal in launching our first-ever DuckDuckGo Privacy App for Windows. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to craft a world-class browser with embedded privacy features.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development: Work on the team responsible for launching the DuckDuckGo Privacy App for Windows.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a browser that revolutionizes online privacy.
- Feature Ownership: Take ownership of significant application features, from ideation to maintenance and improvement.
- Technical Leadership: Participate in technical architecture decisions and shape the software architecture of our consumer product.
What You Bring
- Experience: Proven experience in building desktop applications, ideally with WPF, UWP, WinUI, or WinForms.
- Technical Skills: Advanced programming expertise in C# and .NET 6.
- UI Design: Experience in crafting user interfaces and understanding software design patterns like MVVM and MVP.
- Event-driven Programming: Familiarity with event-driven programming, such as using Rx.NET, is a plus.
