About The Role
Join Remitly's Post Submit Experience (PSX) team, where we focus on enhancing the customer experience after a transfer is submitted. Our team works on transfer messaging and updates for senders and recipients, in-app transfer related UX, transfer management features, and transfer exception handling. As a full-stack developer, you will solve customer problems by designing and maintaining scalable and user-friendly features for the Post Submit Experience team.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, reusable, and scalable code involving multiple technologies such as React Native, TypeScript, Go, Java/Kotlin, and AWS.
- Design and implement APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint rituals, hiring, and mentoring.
- Contribute to the architecture and technical roadmap of our software systems, balancing short-term goals with long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Report to the Engineering Manager of the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in React or React Native development.
- Experience as a React Developer with an understanding of mobile app development.
- Professional experience with one of the following programming languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, or Go.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
Compensation
The starting base salary range for this position is typically $136,000-$170,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
