Wrapbook is seeking a talented Software Engineer III with expertise in Ruby on Rails to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position open to candidates located in Canada. You will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our innovative payroll platform tailored for the entertainment industry.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer III, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to solve complex problems and implement elegant solutions that meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features.
- Write clean, scalable, and secure code.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure the software is well-tested and maintainable.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of the system.
What We Are Looking For
- At least three years of experience in building production web applications.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and experience with building APIs.
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL.
- Attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
- Eagerness to learn and improve your skills.
