Job Description
We are seeking a Staff Rust Developer to join our engineering team. This is a remote position open to candidates located in the United States. As a Staff Rust Developer, you will be responsible for initiating and leading the development of Rust projects based on existing Python code. You will write performance-focused parsing code backed by automated benchmarking and research, and implement efficient data structures for finite-state machines, text-based indexing/search, and serialization.

Qualifications
- Proven experience leading non-trivial, collaborative Rust projects.
- Experience with Python and Rust Python bindings.
- Demonstrable experience with profiling, debugging, and CI tooling.
- A strong value for simplicity and automation.
- Excellent written communication skills.
