About the Role

As an Application Engineer at Royal Schiphol Group, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and verifying deliverables from suppliers, including software and technical documentation. You will be part of a team of 236 colleagues dedicated to minimizing potential safety risks at the airport, ensuring that Schiphol continues to operate smoothly even during security breaches. Your work will contribute to making Schiphol a safe, valued, and welcoming environment for travelers and employees alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Management: You will be responsible for the technical management of specific applications, optimizing the availability of both physical assets and the software running on them.
• Coordination and Execution: Define, describe, and oversee necessary tasks performed by various internal and external service providers, and ensure their execution is up to standard.
• Testing and Reporting: Test delivered systems and report the results, ensuring all systems meet the required standards.
• Procedure Development: Collaborate in developing procedures for detecting and handling malfunctions and incidents.

Collaboration

In this role, you will engage in extensive discussions with stakeholders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure all deliverables meet the required standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in ICT or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in a high ICT-complexity environment like Schiphol, or 8 years in less complex environments.

• A competitive salary ranging from €4,744 to €6,582 gross per month (Scale 12).
