Job Overview
Join Honeywell as an Automation DCS Technician in Amsterdam, where you will be part of a dynamic team in the Systems Engineering department. This role involves engineering hardware systems for industrial process automation, tailored to customer specifications. Our clients span across the petrochemical, oil and gas, and steel industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement complex engineering solutions, focusing on one aspect of large projects such as MMI, Control or Safety applications, IT, or Hardware design.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and time constraints while maintaining high quality standards.
- Interface directly with customers to discuss specific design details of non-standard solutions.
- Provide technical coaching and mentoring to assistants and share knowledge with the engineering team.
- Support project implementation to meet objectives, including improving margins, customer satisfaction, schedule adherence, working capital, and safety performance.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
- Affinity with software engineering and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA, preferably in DCS.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.

Work Environment
