From planning studies to contract formation and the tendering phase, as a Systems Engineering (SE) advisor, you ensure traceability in complex and sometimes combined projects. This is the ideal position to grow into a senior process manager or project manager.

What You Will Do

As a Systems Engineering advisor, you will efficiently and effectively set up the systems engineering process for our clients and our own projects. You will be the crucial link between various disciplines in the project, such as Technology, Contract, and/or Environment. Motivating and facilitating people in the field of Systems Engineering is essential, as is collaborating with the technical advisor or environmental manager. You will work on projects where we encourage clients to focus on circular construction, the energy transition, climate adaptation, and solutions that contribute to more biodiversity and safety.

Your Role in Projects

You will take a central role in projects such as contract preparation for tunnel projects (Drechttunnel) or bridge projects (Van Brienenoordbrug) for Rijkswaterstaat, and also for D&C contracts (Oosterweel) where RHDHV handles the design on the contractor's side. You will ensure proper interface management and that the project team works according to the systems engineering management plan. You will integrate all data for contract and tender documents or design towards realization, constantly looking for opportunities to improve processes.

Work Environment

You will work from one of our offices in Amersfoort, Amsterdam, Nijmegen, Rotterdam, or Utrecht, from home, and from project locations as a member of the Infrastructure team on projects for various clients. And if you want, there's no shortage of relaxation. We organize fun barbecues or drinks at the office and various team outings.

What You Bring

No matter how complex a project is, you quickly gain insight into who can provide you with the right information. You don't hesitate to point out pain points in projects with your positive-critical view. You are motivated to continuously expand your knowledge and learn new skills. Moreover, you work accurately, take initiative, and can work well both independently and collaboratively. Additionally:

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, civil engineering and management, or industrial engineering and management.
• Preferably, you have at least two years of relevant experience, but we are also interested in ambitious starters with relevant internship experience in civil engineering.
• You can communicate clearly with colleagues, experts, clients, and contractors.
