The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Science Director to lead our Generative AI team. This role is pivotal in driving the strategy, development, and deployment of AI models that generate content, solutions, and insights across various domains.

Your Impact

As the Data Science Director, you will:

• Strategic Leadership: Define the vision and strategic roadmap for the GenAI data science team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Model Development Oversight: Lead the design and optimization of generative models using advanced machine learning techniques, including GANs, VAEs, autoregressive models, and transformers.
• Innovation and Research: Drive research initiatives to stay at the forefront of generative AI, fostering a culture of innovation.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate generative models into products and services.
• Team Development and Mentorship: Build and mentor a high-performing data science team, providing career development opportunities.
• Model Fine-Tuning and Optimization: Oversee the fine-tuning of pre-trained models to adapt to specific use cases.
• Prompt Engineering and Evaluation: Guide the development and refinement of prompts to enhance model performance.
• Deployment and Scalability: Ensure the scalable and efficient deployment of models in production environments.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Ensure comprehensive documentation of models and processes to support reproducibility.

Who You Are

• Advanced Degree: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading data science teams with a track record of delivering high-impact AI solutions.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on strategic planning and data analysis.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
