We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Bitcoin Software Engineer. This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to cutting-edge financial technology.
About Your Role
As a Bitcoin Software Engineer, you will be a key player in designing, extending, and maintaining our Bitcoin block processor. You will work on deposit and withdrawal workflows for our custody product, configure and test Bitcoin nodes, and securely integrate our existing backend with the Bitcoin blockchain. Additionally, you will build out fee systems and UTXO management workflows.
What You’ll Bring
- A deep understanding and passion for the Bitcoin ecosystem and its surrounding software.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Experience with unit and end-to-end testing.
- A collaborative spirit, understanding the importance of teamwork in building great software.
- Previous remote work experience is a plus.
Bonus Skills
- Proficiency in Python and Django REST framework.
- Contributions to open-source Bitcoin-related projects.
- Experience with CI/CD and containerization software.
- Knowledge of stablecoins, smart contracts, or other relevant cryptocurrency technologies.
- Comfort with video conferencing and having your camera on during meetings.
