Overview
Docker, Inc., a leading software development company, is seeking a Vice President of Product Marketing to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Docker's product marketing strategy and enhancing our market presence. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Marketing and play a key role in aligning product positioning with customer pain points and desired outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Establish a Product Marketing strategy, positioning, and framework.
- Build a world-class Product Marketing function.
- Own product launches and Sales/CS enablement.
- Build trust and drive collaboration across various departments including Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Create an engine for showcasing customer stories, successes, and their accomplishments with Docker.
- Partner with Developer Relations to demonstrate the practical applications of Docker solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, with a focus on engineering audiences.
- Proven track record as an executive (VP level or above).
- Impeccable communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Experience in building and managing teams.
- Startup experience is a plus.
- Additional experience in other areas of Marketing, or Sales/Customer Success is beneficial.
