Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer - Frontend at Playground, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, responsible for building new products from the ground up and ensuring that existing features remain best in class. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of child care by working directly on products used by thousands of child care businesses, agencies, and government organizations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design and build new features that delight our users.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in React and TypeScript.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Interact directly with our customers to gather feedback and understand their needs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our frontend architecture.
- Build out new features from zero-to-one and improve existing functionality in our web app.
Requirements
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- 3+ years of experience in frontend development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience
Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on frontend technologies.
