Position Overview
As a Senior Tech Lead at Rabobank, you will be pivotal in leading and supporting squads to deliver standardized, future-proof, and user-friendly solutions that will shape the future digital workplace services. This role involves coaching, leading, and supporting teams in a hybrid work environment located in Utrecht, Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Management and HR: Responsible for approximately 40 FTEs, including resource management of IT capabilities within squads, recruitment, and sourcing.
- Capability Building: Continuous upskilling and reskilling of employees.
- Vendor and Finance Management: Manage internal and external suppliers and IT vendors, and steer finance for the team within budget.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and engineering culture, ensuring systems comply with security requirements and standards.
- Leadership: Participate in steering triangles with Product Owners and Solution Architects to set direction for squads. Work in a management team with other Tech Leads to achieve strategic priorities.
Key Qualifications
- Experience managing end-user compute or IT infrastructure teams/services.
- Proven leadership and HR responsibility experience.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets up to €10M.
- Cooperative mindset, leading by example to inspire sustainable thinking.
- Experienced in networking and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of DevOps teams, scaled Agile, IT automation, and Operational Excellence.
