About the Role
Join the Digital Engagement Team at Five9 as a Software Engineer II focusing on backend development. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining software solutions that integrate digital channels like email, chat, SMS, and social media with the contact centre’s voice solutions. The integration aims to create seamless, connected customer journeys across multiple channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions integrating digital channels with voice solutions.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, using problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance customer experiences and ensure software quality.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in Java development, including delivering RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically Datastore, PubSub, and BigQuery.
- Proficiency in server-side technologies and databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Awareness of web security best practices and implementing security measures.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
