Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Supply Chain Risk Intelligence Analyst to join our Infrastructure Supply Chain & Procurement (ISCaP) organization. This role is pivotal in building the reporting, data analysis, and insights across the global supply chain to internal business units. You will work closely with supply chain and analytics leadership to identify risks and report their impact to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed intelligence reports and support risk assessments across business departments.
  • Critically analyze incoming intelligence for reliability and significance.
  • Communicate findings effectively to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Drive collaboration and alignment of risk initiatives with AWS cross-functional teams, including Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management.
  • Formulate and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, safeguarding the AWS supply chain.
  • Develop and refine analytical tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of risk assessments.
  • Maintain assessments and data, and document processes in SOPs, ensuring they are aligned and easily retrievable for any internal or external audit requests.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Political Science, or related discipline, or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in risk identification and remediation.
  • 5+ years of experience managing programs or projects in regulated environments.
  • Strong writing skills: Ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging reports for various audiences and purposes.
  • Strong ability to interpret and analyze raw data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements and preparing artifacts effectively to audits.
  • Proven expertise in identifying and assessing supply chain risks.
  • Possess excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.
