About The Role

As a Data Consultant (Data & AI Transformation) with Mantel Group, you will collaborate with a team of smart, passionate, and skilled professionals. The Data & AI Transformation practice is dedicated to helping clients solve a wide range of data and AI challenges, from strategy to implementation, leveraging our deep expertise in Data Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, and Machine Learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Work hands-on with clients and Mantel’s team members to define, design, build, and deliver technical solutions.
• Deliver excellent client outcomes on Data & AI projects in commercial environments.
• Lead a stream of work, oversee team outcomes, and maintain a strong understanding of business context.
• Define project details, including sprint outcomes, and coordinate team rhythm.
• Influence and build strong trust and credibility with mid-senior client stakeholders.
• Distill highly complex concepts into business-friendly language and recommendations.
• Present verbally and in writing for executive-level audiences, both technical and non-technical.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• Extensive consulting experience with a strong background in technical and hands-on roles.
• Proven ability to manage data projects in commercial environments with many moving parts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create compelling visuals.
• Solid experience in technical writing and preparing clear documentation for various audiences.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels of technical detail.
• Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to guide clients on their data and AI journey.
• Adaptable approach and methods based on project and customer needs, comfortable with ambiguity.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Self-starting attitude, hands-on approach, and ability to work with ambiguity.
• Genuine passion for and connection to the data, data science, and AI community.
