Director of Growth Marketing

The New York Times is seeking a Director of Growth Marketing to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves strategic leadership and hands-on execution to drive subscription growth and revenue across our product portfolio. You will report directly to the Executive Director and Head of Growth Marketing, playing a crucial role in our marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Set Strategic Vision: Develop strategies backed by insights to foster business growth. Collaborate with departments such as Product, Media, and Creative to define and achieve ambitious results. Influence product roadmaps and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Demonstrate Marketing Craft Excellence and Execution: Lead teams in the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns. Stay updated with trends and best practices across various channels. Write inspiring creative briefs and use data to optimize campaign performance.
- Deliver Insights, Tests, and Optimizations: Analyze performance data and consumer trends to enhance acquisition strategies. Shape research briefs to identify compelling value propositions and messages.
- Manage Talent: Oversee and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth and empowerment.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on product marketing or product management.
- Proven track record in leading successful marketing campaigns.
- Experience in managing teams and senior partnerships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Strong planning and implementation skills.
- Motivated by results and committed to achieving them.
