Role Overview
The Enterprise Account Executive, Growth position at MongoDB is a dynamic role that involves formulating and executing a sales strategy within an assigned territory. This territory includes both current Enterprise customers and strategic prospects. The role is based in Milan, Italy, and is part of our hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales pipelines.
- Strategically prospect into roles such as CTOs, IT Leaders, and end users.
- Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in an expanded customer footprint and new customer acquisitions.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects (pre-sales) and the Professional Services team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with enterprise ecosystem partner sales and channel partners to maximize deal sizes.
- Participate in sales enablement trainings, including comprehensive Sales Bootcamps, sophisticated sales training, and leadership development programs.
Candidate Profile
- 8+ years of field experience with quota-carrying responsibilities in a fast-paced and competitive market.
- Strong knowledge of the FSI industry (Banking and Insurance).
- Proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets.
- Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology.
- Fluent in English and based in the Milan area.
