Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in New York City. This role is pivotal in developing and scaling a high-throughput, low-latency exchange. You will implement supporting services like order management systems, price oracles, and liquidation engines, and actively push the boundaries of decentralized exchange design.
Responsibilities
- Develop and scale a high-throughput, low-latency exchange.
- Implement supporting services such as order management systems, price oracles, and liquidation engines.
- Innovate within the decentralized exchange design space, focusing on onboarding UX and verifiable execution.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Python and low-level programming languages like Rust or C++.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Experience in distributed systems and messaging, particularly with tools like Kafka.
- Ability to work in-person in NYC.
Bonus Skills
- Experience in algorithmic trading.
- Experience in developing decentralized protocols, smart contracts, and zero-knowledge circuits.
