Job Description
As a Decision Scientist at Vinted, you will join a cross-functional team within the Help Experience domain. Your mission will be to enable an effortless, scalable, and cost-effective support experience for Vinted members. You will focus on supporting the Member Support function and enhancing quality and efficiency through automation, self-service, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your team and stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities and answer key business questions.
- Ensure questions are answered optimally through ad hoc deep-dives, experiments, dashboards, or recurring analyses.
- Analyze opportunities to understand their scope and impact.
- Own key performance indicators for the team, including selection, tracking, forecasting, and issue flagging.
- Enable your team and stakeholders to leverage data for business insights via self-service and dashboarding tools like Looker.
- Define requirements for A/B testing and analyze test results.
- Help create a backlog with prioritized hypotheses and analyses.
About You
- Demonstrable experience as a Decision Scientist, Data Analyst, or Product Analyst.
- BSc or MSc in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related field.
- Highly business-oriented and comfortable with iterative processes.
- Excellent communicator, able to present complex topics clearly.
- Proficient in statistical methods and data-driven decision making.
- Advanced knowledge of at least one statistical programming language (Python, R, etc.).
- Fluent in SQL and experienced with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).

Salary
The salary range for this position is €3,175 - €4,292 gross per month.
