Role Overview
Join Whatnot as a Senior Software Engineer in our Developer Productivity team, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering teams. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an efficient CI/CD pipeline to accelerate software deployment.
- Build and optimize tooling for local development environments to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy services across various environments.
- Implement and refine developer workflows to minimize friction and maximize efficiency.
- Provide architectural and process improvement recommendations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in developer productivity or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of public cloud environments (GCP, AWS) and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Proficiency in coding and a track record of delivering high-quality software.
- Excellent communication skills and a low-ego, action-oriented mindset.
