Role Overview
Join Whatnot as a Senior Software Engineer on our Developer Productivity team, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering teams. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an efficient CI/CD pipeline to expedite software deployment.
- Create tooling for local environment setups, enabling swift and safe feature development.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy services across various environments.
- Optimize developer workflows to reduce friction and increase productivity.
- Provide architectural and process improvement recommendations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in developer productivity or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong instincts for improving developer experiences.
- Experience in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP) using Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Terraform.
- Proficiency in CI/CD workflows and coding skills.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $185,000 - $245,000 per year, plus equity and extensive benefits, reflecting the seniority and critical nature of the role in our fast-growing company.
