Role Overview
Join our Seller Experience team at Whatnot, where you will play a pivotal role in empowering our community of sellers with innovative tools and experiences. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop scalable, user-friendly solutions that enhance the seller journey at every step, from onboarding to scaling and growth. You will tackle complex problems that span from Casual Resellers to Large Retailers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust software solutions to improve the seller experience.
- Work across the stack, handling both backend and frontend development tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features.
- Continuously improve the platform by leveraging feedback from users and analytics.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a fast-growing technology company.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Elixir.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a user-centric approach to software development.
- Experience in ecommerce or related fields is a bonus.
